COSTS

We strive to keep our dues, registration costs, and other yearly expenses as low as possible. We have an annual budget that is reviewed and approved by our Pack Committee.

Annual BSA Youth Registration

We are very fortunate to be a part of the Golden Spread Council which DOES NOT collect an annual program fee. This is a great benefit to our local programs. Most other councils charge program fees.

NEW CUB SCOUTS

Total paid to BSA = Annual BSA Youth Registration

$85 + $100 = $185

RETURNING CUB SCOUTS

Total paid to BSA = Annual BSA Youth Registration

$0 (Included in Pack 3 Youth Dues)

Total paid to Pack 3 = Pack 3 Youth Dues (Returning)

$185

Dues notes for new and returning Cub Scouts

ALL MEMBERS

Funds in your Scout account from fundraising or payments will be applied to your dues balance unless you have notified the Pack Treasurer of alternate plans. Failure to pay on time will result in a Scout being dropped from the roster on their registration anniversary month.

Spring Semester & Summer (January – August)

  • Arrow of Light Bridging Ceremony

    • Annual Scout dues and Pack registration fees paid to National BSA

  • Blue & Gold Banquet

    • Decorations, paper goods, end of year gifts, neckerchiefs dessert

  • Summer Activities

    • ex. Bowling lane rental, ice rink rental, pool rental, etc.

OTHER EXPENSES

As a universal symbol of scouting, the Official BSA Uniform is known for lasting through countless adventures and bringing Scouts together with a common thread. Dues notes for new and returning Adult Leaders

STARTING SEPTEMBER 1, 2023

Effective September 1, 2023, the BSA has a new camping policy that requires all adults camping overnight with a unit, must be registered in the BSA. The only exception to this is a Cub Scout parent or legal guardian of the youth. They can camp overnight without being registered, however they must be accompanied at all times by a registered adult in that unit if around other scouts.

ALL MEMBERS

Funds in your Scout account from fundraising or payments will be applied to your dues balance unless you have notified the Pack Treasurer of alternate plans. Failure to pay on time will result in an Adult Leader being dropped from the roster on their registration anniversary month.

LEADERSHIP CREDITS

A $65 credit will be added to each leader's Scout Account for the following positions: Den Leaders, Pack Committee Chair, Chartered Organization Representative, Cub Master after completing position specific training.

A $15 credit will be added to each leader's Scout Account for all other positions after completing position specific training.

A $0 credit will be added to each leader's Scout Account for all other positions not completing position specific training.
